Would you rather

I think I figure out a way to help you figure out whether you love a person (romantically) more than you love yourself.

Answer the following question:

Would you rather...
A. lose a limb to be together with this person your whole life, provided that this person will never mind that your body is no longer whole, will always love you, and you will still be fertile. The loss of that one limb will not obstruct you from getting successful in the future, the only downsides are a-life-time inconvenience and possibly self-image issues (depending on how you deal with it psychologically).
or ...
B. have all your limbs intact and spend your life with someone else (whom you haven't met yet) who will also always love you. But the person you initially love (the one in option A) will suffer the loss of your love for his/her whole life.

Walt Disney World ⋅ Magic Kingdom (Day 1)

During our spring break in March, we went to Orlando, Florida for four days, three days to visit Walt Disney World and one day for Universal Studios. Walt Disney World consists of four theme parks: Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. The former two didn't appeal to me so I decided to only visit the latter two. We started with Magic Kingdom, which based on my research would take up to two days to explore!

Note: I'm on a roll since I dug out some old photos for the previous post. All photos below were taken with my first and second Samsung flip phones during my teenage phase.

First party this semester

Went to an Asian party (pre-game) on Friday night at Spencer's place. The girls who came were all so damn gorgeous *slurp* but no pictures for you all cuz by the time the atmosphere warmed up, half of the people was already so drunk and we all left in a rush to get into a club.

I think we were the only girls in senior year? And we were I was creeping on the newbies hahahahaha

To my chagrin, I guess I can never grow empathy for people who just don't want to see the bigger picture, choose what's beneficial in the longer run and plan their lives ahead. Don't get me wrong, of course I do know that life is full of uncertainties and that the quote "if you fail to plan, you're planning to fail" holds no absolutes, but what if it has been crystal clear that they do not want the current situation to persist for their whole lives? I shouldn't be surprised if anyone refuse to start anew just because of the fear of not being able to do better huh.

"It's often easier said than done."

Hey, you know what, nobody is ever 'ready'; it's really just whether you want the change to happen badly enough. No one can ever be sure enough what are the smarter decisions to make, because as everyday passes more wisdom is accumulated, so based on what should we derive that it's time to stop waiting and just make that best bet we can?

Doing the 'right' things (or even, making the 'right' mistakes) requires maturity, and maturity consists of adequate understanding about one's self— which helps one figure out what one desires in life. This understanding does not come free though, the cost is lots and lots of mistakes and regrets. No other person can learn our life lessons for us, and human will never learn from history, we're all screwed anyway (because we're all gonna die), so stop whining, make the best choice you can make and suck it up.

Once you've matured enough, you will naturally pick up the right glasses to fix your shortsightedness in life.

God helps those who help themselves.

ps: pardon the terrible flow, apparently I'm not in the best state of mind now.

First week of class wasn't too bad. It's now the second week, and I can already conclude that I'm not too thrilled about classes I'm taking this semester.

My statistics class is taught by a very young lady from China, she talks v-e-r-y  s-l-o-w and the syllabus is so elementary. I slept away her lectures and finished studying a whole week's syllabus on my own within 10 minutes wtf. Why should I attend the morning lectures then. Might as well just sleep at home.

Immunology is okay, I like the syllabus, but the lectures were too concentrated, it's almost impossible to learn and remember 1 whole chapter of facts and details within a lecture period. I do like the professor, he's an old man who seemed very knowledgeable in his field and passionate in teaching, however when it comes to biology, there is no such thing as not being able to understand the syllabus without someone explaining it to you, so I really prefer studying on my own at home. But he said he will give pop quizzes... bohuat have to attend class then.

Physics— 2 professors, one from China and one from France. The one from China is not too bad actually, but the French one speaks with very irritating accents which sounds like this: "Zelectrix zi ze flux kwazsatx pizze solochwl" ಠ_ಠ SIMI SAI??? I give up.

I actually like my schedule a lot... but let's see how far into the semester I can go before I start skipping all the lectures that don't take attendance. *laugh*

Hippie chicken hahahaha wtf.

Weird flower. NO WAIT

Omg hehehehehehehehehe

I followed this cock around for like 5 minutes just to feel amused hahahahahaha

This chicken was just standing there in the middle of the road cuz the road is his grandpa's one wtf.

I shove my camera in his face (face?) and he didn't back off. Standing still like a boss.

Taken inside a random home decor shop

Hello he wasn't a decor item okay. It's a real live chicken!

SO BIG omg. The chickens there were not afraid of humans at all, I was so near and he just chilled.

WSK was making quack quack quack sound and fanning the chicken off the bridge hahaha wtf.
