Eclipse graduation speech

"When we were 5, they asked us what we wanted to be when we grew up. Our answers were things like 'astronaut', 'president', or in my case, 'a princess'. When we were 10, they asked again, we answered 'rock star', 'cowboy', or in my case, 'gold medalist'. But now that we have grown up, they want a serious answer.

Well, how about thisWho the hell knows?

This isn't the time to make hard and fast decision, this is the time to make mistakes. Take the wrong train and get stuck somewhere. Fall in love... a lot. Major in philosophy because there is no way to make a career out of that. Change your mind, then change it again, because nothing is permanent. So, make as many mistakes as you can. That way, someday, when they ask again what we want to be, we won't have to guess.

We'll know."

Twinkle Christmas

I'm usually ignorant/indifferent about festivals. I just don't get excited for most celebrations... you know, growing up in a multicultural country like Malaysia, we have a whole bunch of big and small festivals every year, it's hard for me to not get numb. Although there are many Chinese festivals throughout the year, almost all have something to do with Chinese religions, which also means it has nothing to do with me since I come from a Christian family.

So Christmas is one huge exception which I look forward to. Two years ago was my best Christmas celebration. It was my first and only time caroling, and I was with other Christian youths from the church I belong to (i.e. the church I had my baptism at). The atmosphere was insanely joyful, the mood got higher and higher as we caroled from house to house. When the clock ticked 12, we screamed, yelled, shouted "Merry Christmas" to vehicles on road that passed by the van we're in. From their faces I could tell they probably were wondering whether we are drunk or on drug hahaha.

Told my mom that I couldn't find my Santa hat.

Mom: Why would you need Santa hat??

Me: Want to camwhore *act shy*
About one hour later...

Mom: Nah, I found your Santa hat.

Me:   :DDDD

I've got no red clothes in my wardrobe, a blue satin evening dress could do equally good :)

"Let the rock spirit rules!"

The following five are sorta like my personal brand of Christmas greeting cards...

Never knew tagging people could be tiring! Meant to tag only a few but ended up tagging more and more people until I died off, missed out a lot of people :( Anyway like the album caption says, Merry Christmas to y'all! :D

TA-DAA! My last-year Christmas present, Rabbit McFluffy!

Attention to our smiles. Like sexy mama, like son :P

Correction: WHERE ARE MY GIFTS?

No gifts? *pout*

PsychoZenne should have long hair

Why? Because short hair + psycho did not work on me!

Ew mannnn. How come I did not realize how so very awkward I looked!!! No wonder I never got into the list of 'Seg Hwa eye candies'. *sigh* Here is the album 'When I kept short hair'. Wtf wtf.

To qualify yourself as an eye candy you need to look good even when you act psycho. Or at least, look like a real psycho. Long hair helps me to achieve both. lol.

Theme: PsychoZenne. Not GAGAzenne plsssss. I adore myself the most XD
Date: Dec 23rd, 2010. One more day to Christmas' Eve!
Time: Around 3 a.m.
Venue: My room. Not hostel room, my home room I mean.
Photographer: My laptop

(Actually I wanted to do a 'Christmas shooting' initially, but I couldn't find my Santa hat...)

Where? Where did I put my Santa hat???...

MASTERPIECE :D

The Scream etc.

I develop a craze about drawings after my previous post, so I went online to check out my favorite famous painting called The Scream:

By Edvard Munch, an already dead Norwegian artist. The Scream is his best composition, a part of a series The Frieze of Life, in which he explored the themes of love, life, death, melancholia and anxiety.

And I also came across some pictures out of my expectation when I searched for The Scream:

Okay I admit this is talented, compared to the usual smiley we love to draw on our plates.

But what about this?!
(Is this thing from Simpsons??)

And THIS?!

Perhaps it has even become the icon of our pop culture...
Wah MP3 so this thing is from 21st century. But what about the two things at the back? Magicians?

I was surprised when I saw this on the result page of 'Edvard Munch'. I mean, this guy is handsome!
Then I found out this guy is 'Edvard Munch' casted by Geir Westby in a biographical film.

Edvard Munch looked like this in 1921:

Neither the real Edvard nor the actor look like that thing in The Scream. Both of them has lost to this female celebrity:
LILY ALLEN! What a face she was trying to make!

Also, I have a book which is a compilation of some meaningful drawings. I bought it at really cheap price.

hard cover

color pages

I bet nobody will have the right guess of its price. It cost me only RM8. Gosh I love Popular!!! *heart*

Let's see some of my favorite drawings from this book:

The last drawing occupies the largest portion of my impression of this book. Can't help it HAHAHA

May you appreciate art ;)
